Garrett Jemison
Garrett Jemison is the founder of Jemison Incorporated, a boutique firm that specializes in governmental affairs, public relations and strategic planning. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a major in Political Science and a minor in Public Relations.
He went on to serve as State Director for U.S. Senator Richard Shelby from 2011-2014. In this role, Jemison managed the state offices, planned and attended hundreds of events in all 67 counties alongside the Senator, and worked directly with many companies throughout the state. Jemison later served as the first Chief Operating Officer for Manufacture Alabama, where he worked to enhance the state’s economic growth by promoting Alabama’s manufacturing community. Jemison built upon his key experience in Washington, D.C. and Alabama to establish Jemison Inc. Since its founding, the firm has consulted for Fortune 500 companies, energy providers, higher education institutions, municipalities, defense contractors, data centers and economic development coalitions in front of the United States Congress. A Montgomery native, Jemison lives in the capital city with his wife, Emily.
